Is it spelled wrong?  Or did you get married and change your last name?  Is your SSN correct?

No they have just spelled it wrong

Then just spell it correctly on your tax return.  The IRS looks at the first four letters--are those right?  Have your employer correct their records.

No they have it as Bunner and it’s Butler I corrected it on the form but it still says it is wrong do you have a suggestion for me?

Have your employer issue a corrected W-2.
