This is my first year filing joint with my spouse. My spouse continues to receive emails from her turbotax account even though we filed together. Am I missing a step?

If you filed under your account or opened a new Turbo Tax account her account is sending reminders that she needs to file since her account has not been used. Check to make sure your returns have been filed and accepted and if they have been you can continue to ignore the reminders: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3319882
