Where should I enter income from ticket sales? I do not do this as a business so I can't use Schedule C and I am unable to access Schedule D. Would it go under a personal item 1099-B?

In TurboTax Online, report hobby income as follows:

    • Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
    • Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income.
    • Scroll down to Less Common Income and click on the dropdown menu.
    • To the right of Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C, click the Start / Revisit button.
    • To the right of Hobby income and expenses, click the Start / Revisit button.
    • At the screen Any Other Taxable Income, click Yes.
    • At the screen Nice. Let's get your income and expenses, enter income and expense.
    • Click Continue

    The entry will be reported:

    • on line 8j of Schedule 1 of the Federal 1040 tax return, and
    • on line 8 of the Federal 1040 tax return.

It depends. Please clarify because Ticket Sales indicates a sale for a chance to win something.  More information will allow us to be specific with your answer.

    Thanks for your reply!

I purchased tickets on Ticketmaster and then sold them at a profit on Stubhub. I did not receive a 1099-K because it was under the threshold.
