Question

"To accurately complete your taxes you need to upgrade to TurboTax deluxe. I don't understand why I cant just file for free like I have the past 2 years?

This happened at the very end of putting in all of my information. and there are no boxes to click that will let me just file for free

You are able to begin your tax return using TurboTax Free Edition, but if you do not qualify for it, you will be prompted to upgrade. Please see this link for tax situations covered in TurboTax Free Edition. It is possible that you may have added an add on that required an upgrade or that your tax situation required an upgrade to your account. To see what you are being charged for please follow the instructions in the following FAQ.
