Yes, FMLA is medical leave, and often that is paid leave.

FMLA stands for the Family and Medical Leave Act, which established the right to take leave for medical and family purposes without getting fired.

If your employer paid for your leave, it may be included on your W-2, issued on a separate W-2, or reported on 1099-G.

Amounts reported on W-2 usually have a checkmark for "Third-Party Sick Pay" in box 13.
