I used Lacerte last year, when I was part of a tax preparation partnership.  I am now fully retired and decided to keep my files "private" in the future (no dependence on someone else setting passwords for me in the Cloud which my former partner now uses)

BUT any chance of transferring in data from Lacerte which I used for 18 years as sole tax preparer, and 4 years in the preparation partnership, INTO TURBO TAX???  it is quite a lot of data    like cary over foreign tax credits depreciation and so on.

No, you won't be able to transfer your tax file (tax data) from Lacerte to TurboTax.  Lacerte can convert a TurboTax file but TurboTax cannot convert a Lacerte tax file.
