Somehow I entered all my information on the self employed version of Turbo Tax, but what I needed was the 1040 EZ. Is there a way to transfer the information or do I need to clear and start over?

Yes.

You will need to Clear & Start Over to Remove Self Employed.

If you have a simple return you may use the Federal Free Edition (State additional).

Since it seems you have been upgraded to Self Employed,

to Downgrade from Self Employed you must Clear & Start Over.

You may only Clear & Start over if you have not already Paid,  Filed or Registered your Return.

To Clear & Start Over Select

 My Account

Clear & Start Over

This will completely Clear your return and remove Self Employed.

You will need to manually enter All of your information back into your return.

If the program offers to import last year’s personal information, Select

I will enter the information myself.

Otherwise you will be upgraded to Plus ($29.99).

Keep in mind, if you claim Mortgage Interest, Moving Expenses,  or have an HSA you will be upgraded to  Deluxe ($54.99) and you have to pay to file your State ($39.99) return.

IF you enter Business Expenses you will be upgraded to Self Employed.

I hope this helps
