I worked for the census in 2020 and i was laid off in November.

I am currently unemployed.

I had about 200 in social security tax deferred.

Since i am no longer working for the census how am i suppose to repay the uncollected tax?

Turbotax doesnt appear to give my any options to repay it from my tax refund

That is not a part of the 2020 tax return...so you won't see it there.

The repayment of that amount has not been entirely figured out yet.

For a similar situation where  Military people, who left service in Nov/Dec....DFAS says they will be sending them a bill in the mail sometime in 2021.    Perhaps Census Bureau will be doing the same for you.

Hard to know yet how other employers across the USA will be handling it.  For those still employed at the same employer, it's going to be deducted from paychecks during 2021......but for those no longer employed... maybe it will be a part of 2021 tax returns filed next year.
