Question

Trying to chose the free version of Turbo Tax and it's asking me "Tell us a bit about you and your Taxes". None of the situations apply. How do I get past this page.

Last year I had a different tax situation, sold a home, etc.  This year it's straight forward Social Security income, so my tax situation is completely different and the free version is sufficient.

You can try to clear your return and start over which may eliminate the additional information.  Likewise when you do, you can say not to transfer any data from last year.

This link will allow you to see what can be filed with the Free edition.  Just click the 'See if you qualify' as shown in the image below.
