Trying to e-file my taxes with Turbo tax, and i get an error with payer zip code of a 1099-R that i know is correct, how do i still e-file?

    TurboTax will say there's a "zip code" error, even if the zip code is correct, but one of the other items in the address has a mistake.

     

    Double-check that you are using the correct 2-character state abbreviation.  i.e., don't mistype AK, AR, AZ or ME, MA, etc.

     

    Also be sure the town is typed correctly.

     

    If you continue to get the error, and if there is any punctuation in the address, try it without punctuation.
