Trying to efile federal taxes but it says it needs W2 state iemployer information but did not enter any W2s.

If you are using a TurboTax Desktop program you can follow the steps below.

  1. Open your return, and select your return and click Continue
  2. Click on Forms view
  3. Search the Forms tree on left to ensure there are no W2's listed.
  4. If you do find a W2, you can click on the Delete Form button.
  5. Repeat Step 4 for each W2 you find.
