Trying to enter a 1099 from the Department of the Treasury, but there is no box#1. Only shows interest in box #3

Yes, that interest will NOT go in Box 1. There is a small checkbox underneath the "Received From" entry. Click this checkbox and the rest of the possible boxes will appear for you to enter your Box 3 interest. I have included a screenshot below.
