Turbo Tax 1098-T tuition statement address not matching the hard copy.

The hard copy 1098-T my son has used my ex-spouse's address. When I input the info on TT, it populates my address on the tuition statement. Can the address be changed? I'm afraid when he files his own tax return, the address isn't going to match up. I'm not sure if that's ok? He uses his mom's address for paperwork to keep things simple, but we alternate years to claim him as dependent.

The 1098-T should list the students Social Security Number, just above the Student's name.

    That's all that matters.

If you list the student on your return, you can claim the 1098-T.

The amounts on the 1098-T is the only thing the IRS might look at, they are not concerned with the address.
