Question

turbo tax autopopulates last years AGI but then it asks for my spouses AGI. Is her AGI the same as mine or do I need to enter 0 for her?

We filed jointly last year our total AGI was $89000. Do I split our AGIs to match 89K or do I just leave mine as 89k and 0 for my wife? Our return is rejected by IRS.

The first efile attempt  would be with the same total  2023 AGI for both of you.  If you already tried that, then try the full 2023 AGI for you (primary filer), and a 2023 AGI of 0 for the spouse.     It often works, but sometimes doesn't.  But can't hurt to try.

If that doesn't work, please post the rejection error code/message.
