Turbo tax is ripping people off by not honoring the Freedom Edition sent from the IRS.gov website - crooks!!!!!!!!!

You can file for free using the Tax Freedom Edition if you qualify. I am showing that you are in a different edition however. Follow the link below for the Tax Freedom Edition.

You Ripped Off a Student

These [removed] funneled me into the paid website when I was making very little money as a full time student after getting off active duty military. No amount of “we did nothing wrong” or “you were on the wrong service” is going to make up for that. Do you think we are idiots intuit?! You struck a deal with the government and you used it as a vehicle to rip off poor Americans to line your pockets. [removed]

@You Ripped Off a Student IRS rules prohibit direct links from paid tax programs to the IRS Free File. You access the IRS Free File via the IRS wev site - not TurboTax.

Note: Free File is closed now and will not open until sometime in January (probably Jan 15 when the IRS will open e-file).
