Turbo Tax Refund

I'm attempting to get a Refund for the turbo tax plus product after I was unable to use it. I did attempt to file through turbo tax but I was rejected because I was a dependent of my parents and also filing individually. Your system told us we could not file electronically because of this, and we attempted to go through the fix my return but was unsuccessful. However I was unfortunately charged 118 dollars when I never used any plus version of turbo tax. I'm really struggling getting through to turbo tax through the Intuit return process, can anyone help me?

You can still efile. You have to go back and say you can be claimed on someone else's return. Or don't you qualify for them to claim you? Do they need to amend their return and take you off?

Go into My Info and go though the questions there is one that says Someone else can claim me. YES or NO.

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax, if you haven’t already.
2. Select My Info from the side menu.
3. Select Edit next to your name.
4. On Your personal info, scroll down and answer Yes to Someone else can claim me as a dependent.

Or if you want to still claim yourself you will have to print and mail your return. The fees are the same whether you efile or print and mail.
