Question

turbo tax will not allow me to e-file without inserting a Rhode Island ID on the estimated tax form?

    Rhode Island does not require this information to e-file tax returns.  However, some states do therefore TurboTax has this entry field.  If you enter a number in this field TurboTax will accept it and allow you to continue.
