TurboTax 2019 Activation error 630

if you are amending 2019 to get a refund, it's probably too late since you normally get 3 years from the applicable due date. which would have ended in 2023

if you owe this is no time limit for the iRS to come after you.

it is unlike 2019 will work, I'm surprised any year prior to 2021 works because Turbotx has shut down the update servers. so neither the original program nor updates are available. 

this was supposedly a solution that worked but it comes from a post for 2023 and we don't know what year the OP was trying to reinstall or wether it still works

Rename folders in the folders below for TY19 to something else and uninstall and install.

Sorry you won’t be able to install or reinstall or activate 2020 or prior. They only support the last 3 years. And the License Code started in 2019. So 2019 and 2020 needs to connect to Turbo Tax to verify the License Code. But they only support the last 3 years. So you can’t install and activate 2020 and prior (then add a year going forward).

And if you do get 2018 and prior installed you won’t be able to update it or download any state programs. So you should save all your returns to a pdf file with all the worksheets. Open each year and save them now if you haven’t already.
