TurboTax 2023, Federal Taxes, SSA-1099 Entry Screen Problem

With TurboTax 2023 under the Federal Taxes Tab, category Retirement Plans and Social Security, the Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) Start button goes to one or more screens that do not display properly.  These screens are squeezed tightly into the upper left hand area in a box with up/down and left/right arrows.  The arrows seem to work, but the box the screens appear in is much too small to be readable.

It's possible this is browser-related. Please log out of TurboTax, refresh your browser, and clear your cookies and cache. Then restart your browser and log into TurboTax again.

@PatriciaV    Desktop software......someone else reported that too, and showed a picture of it.

Don't know what the final resolution was, but it was suggested that they try increasing the txt size...using the "A" icon buttons in the lower Rt corner of the TTX screen.

Come back and let us know if that works.

I've experienced various problems over the years that have caused TurboTax to run improperly, including screen resolution incompatibility, Windows version incompatibility and missing fonts that TT just could not function without.  None of the prior routes for solving the problem worked this time.  So, I went through the Windows 11 Config - Remove Program application to get rid of TT.  Then, I simply reinstalled TurboTax and it worked.  I consider myself fortunate this time.  Since TT likely uses the same program shell each year into which they insert the updated forms for the new year you would think they would have found ways to solve problems like those I mentioned above by now.

It can also sometimes help to not install the very first versions that come out.

If you get the download installation file, and NOT use a CD, that is continually updated every week thru the filing season, usually once a week (except for occasional software disaster fixes), and a later installation file that you download, would have far fewer bugs.
