Question

TurboTax 2024 Deluxe will not let me add deductions. I click the + and it bails out

    If you are trying to enter property taxes in TurboTax Desktop, we are currently looking into this issue.

     

    Please make sure you have run all updates. If this doesn’t solve the issue, then you can switch to form mode and enter the property tax directly on Schedule A. Please make sure you do not select to overwrite anything in form mode.

     

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Open your return in TurboTax desktop
    2. Click on “Forms” icon on the top right to switch to form mode
    3. Select “Schedule A’ on he left
    4. Enter the amount under “Taxes You Paid”
