I found this resource on the Credit Karma website and you will need to be logged into your Credit Karma account if you want to unlink TurboTax.

Linking your TurboTax account to Credit Karma

    Original Publication: Feb 17 2022 | Last Updated: Jan 22 2025

If you use both TurboTax and Intuit Credit Karma, you can now link the accounts on Credit Karma.

How can I link my accounts?

From the Credit Karma site, under the More menu, you can click on Taxes to get started with filing your taxes on TurboTax. By clicking the Taxes button, you can create or login to an Intuit account and link it to your Credit Karma account.

Or, from the TurboTax site, you’ll have an option to link your Credit Karma and TurboTax account as well after you file your taxes.

How can I unlink my accounts?

You can unlink your Turbo Tax account in your Security Settings by navigating to the My Profile section.

You can then click on “Unlink all accounts” to unlink your accounts. Keep in mind, once unlinked, you won’t be able to relink the accounts.

However, if you unlink your accounts, you might not be able to take advantage of certain planned product features in the future, such as switching between your TurboTax and Credit Karma accounts without logging in.
