Question

TurboTax asks me to put an exact amount for my 6419 letter I input 412.50 for both people and it rounds to 826 when I actually received 825 for both of us. How can I fix?

I need to enter exact amounts or my return might be denied.. How can I input exact values on a tax form?

Outsmart the software.   Enter 413 for one of you and 412 for the other spouse.

    Change one of the amounts to 412.49 so it will round down to 412 and the other amount will round up to 413.

    Only the total is reported on your tax return.
