Turbotax closes but then restarts. have to close it twice?

Yeah, that happens occasionally o many folks.

I'm not sure anyone really knows the specific conditions when/why it happens.

(Windows 10) I just tried closing mine down...upper rt corner "X" and save file on exit, and TTX restarted after 30 sec or so.   Restarted and opened file and exited again the same way/same file (with save on exit), two more times and there was no auto-restart after either shutdown.

So  Why???

Given this very strange behavior, if you have to  reboot your computer for any reason, make sure you shutdown TTX and WAIT a minute or 2...to be sure it doesn't restart in the middle of the reboot.
