Question

TurboTax Deluxe tells me that Form 8606 is not approved for release at this time (Feb 3, 2020). The IRS tells me it is ready now. So TurboTax is having a problem w/8606?

    While Form 8606 is ready, the SECURE Act was not passed until December 20, 2019. This law could affect the treatment of some IRA's and some people are affected for this filing season. 

     

    The estimated time for implementation of these additional complexities is February 12, 2020.
