Turbotax instruction for rejected returns to be mailed list an address in Carolina. Why am I mailing a return to Carolina if I live in texas?

The address on the file by mail instructions list Charlotte, NC as the dity to mail to. Why?

Here's the official IRS mail-filing addresses for TX residents.....note that it depends on whether or not you are including an actual payment with it.

Make sure you really have to mail file. Rejected e-filed returns can sometimes be fixed and re-e-filed....but I can't know your situation....or if you already tried several times.
