Turbotax miscalculated my taxes. I went from refund to I owe. And was charged for using them. How do I get them to fix my taxes or pay my fed taxes since turbo messed up

Which tax year? TT stands by its calculations, but most adjustments made by the IRS are due to taxpayer errors. Could you have made a data entry mistake, answered a question incorrectly, or forgotten to claim some income?

The IRS has also been denying 2020 Recovery Rebate Credits if its records show that the taxpayer was already sent stimulus #1 and/or #2, or did not qualify. In some cases, the TP was mailed a debit card for this, but might have throw it out as junk mail.

What exactly did the IRS letter say they changed? And why do you think it's a TT error?
