TurboTax Premier 2019 keeps crashing when I try to update any entry.

I can open my saved return (*.tax2019) just fine. However, whenever I navigate to Federal Taxes -> Wage & Income and click any Update button such as the one next to "Interest on 1099-INT", TurboTax will crash.

I tried re-installing TurboTax as well the California state but it didn't help.

OS: Windows 7

Version: 2019.41.30.244

Installed all updates as of 5/15/2020

Can someone please help?

Try this. It has worked for some people with similar problems.

    • Exit from TurboTax.
    • Right-click the TurboTax 2019 icon on your Windows desktop.
    • On the pop-up menu click "Properties."
    • In the Properties window click the "Compatibility" tab.
    • Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7."
    • Check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator."
    • Click OK.
    • Start TurboTax again.
