Turbo tax - Please check this error- Information not being transferred between forms correctly

-Form 1040, Line 38 Penalty Assessed - clicked on search icon to locate data source

-Form 1040 worksheet, Line 38 - clicked on search icon to locate data source

-Form 2210, Line 8 - data amount from 2023 was clearly incorrect. clicked on search icon to locate data source

-Federal Carryover worksheet, Line 6 for 2023 was the correct number but it was not being transferred to the current form 2210, line 8.

I just tried this in TurboTax Premier to check. I entered a figure on Line 6 for 2023 in the Federal Carryover Worksheet, and it correctly transferred to Form 2210, Line 8.

Try these troubleshooting steps:

Check your internet connection. Hardwired connections work best.
Try exiting TurboTax, restarting your device and starting TurboTax again.
Try using a different browser. Chrome usually works well.
Try clearing your cache and cookies

You could also try reentering the amount on Line 6 for 2023 in the Federal Carryover Worksheet, as I did, to see if it will then appear on Form 2210.

I tried everything to no avail except the browser corrections as I am using Turbo Tax as a stand alone program. It is still not transferring.

have you tried the interview questions under Other Tax Situations / Underpayment Penalties - it will ask you for the 2023 Tax Liability and AGI, should pick up the carryover by default, either way try changing it there
