To file multiple tax returns using TurboTax, including one married filing jointly and separate returns for your son and daughter. Is it possible without paying extra?

No.    When you use online TurboTax, you get one return per fee.

Each return needs its own account and user ID.   If you use the same account and user ID for a second return, the second one overwrites the first return and it is lost forever.

Desktop download software is much more cost effective if you have multiple returns to prepare for several family members.    With one download you can prepare and e-file up to five federal returns.

Not in the Online version.   The Desktop program can do multiple returns and efile 5 federal for free.  But each state return is $25 to efile or you can print and mail state for free.

You can buy the Desktop Download program directly from Turbo Tax here,
