Question

TurboTax says my return is "Federally Printed - Ready to Mail" and "Return Status: Printed," but I selected Direct Deposit as my preferred method. Did it go through?

You are conflating two separate processes -- the filing of your tax return with the IRS and the issuance of a tax refund from the IRS to you.

The two status messages that you mentioned indicate that you physically printed your tax return. Your next steps, whether you have already taken them or still need to, are signing the tax return and mailing it to the IRS. Form 1040 Mailing Addresses

Direct Deposit is one of several methods that exist for delivering a tax refund to you if you over paid your taxes. Direct Deposit has no relationship whatever with your filing method. You can select Direct Deposit whether you choose to e-file your tax return or file the paper tax return by mail.
Beginning about three weeks after you have filed your tax return, you can begin tracking the progress of your tax refund at the IRS-operated website Where's my refund?
