Question

Turbotax thinks I have a K-1 but I don't. I can't remove it without paying $129. How do I get rid of this form?

More than a decade ago I got a K-1 but the company then went out of business and vanished. I have never been able to remove it from Turbotax. Now this year, it insists on my paying $129 just to see the form and won't file my taxes otherwise. How do I get Intuit to delete this form or let me do it. Paying $129 just to delete a form is stupid. Otherwise I will have to file my taxes elsewhere.

If you're using TurboTax Online, in the left-side menu, go to Tax Tools > Tools > Delete a Form (from the pop-up menu).

Scroll through the listing of forms in your return and look for Schedule K-1, and/or a Schedule K-1 Worksheet and delete them.

Then close TurboTax, clear your Cache and Cookies and return to where you left off.

You don't pay to delete a form, but you pay for your return when you're ready to Efile.

I didn't know this was there, thanks. I was able to delete the form.
