I requested and received to corrected 1099-Rs from my Life Insurance Co but they failed to check the CORRECTED block on the forms. Can I still file with these supposedly corrected 1099-Rs and just not check the CORRECTED block in TurboTax when I enter them?
Not yet! The best course of action is for the insurance company to correct their error. Since they were willing to correct the original document, they probably will post the "Corrected" to it.
