updates cannot download

I installed my 2021 Turbo tax program on 2/16/22 and have been working on my return with no problem until today when I tried to open the program, it wanted to do an update. I continued as usual to get the update and it states it cannot update because of error 1603, Fatal error during installation.  I researched what to do and it said to restart my computer.  I did and update gave me the same error. I have tried to "repair or reinstall" from the CD and it gives me a different error. I can't open my tax return to finish it. Please someone help. Thank you Donna Arabie.
