Vanguard brokerage

On the page to import Vanguard brokerage 1099s, it says "Tax info isn’t available from this provider yet".

What does this mean?

    It means they haven't generated the forms yet.  Try again in a week.

      I received the forms in the mail. Do they generate different forms for TurboTax?

      Correct.  The Tax forms that are imported into the various software companies...those import files are formatted entirely differently from the PDF/paper forms you may get.

       

      Pretty-much just data streams in a special digital format.
