W-2 ADP TOTALSOURCE Box C

Hi,

On my W2 Box C appears as:

ADP TOTALSOURCE DE IV

INC

"COMPANY NAME" LLC

10200 SUNSET DRIVE

MIAMI FL 33173

note: in the W2 there is a real name before LLC, but I am using"COMPANY NAME" here for privacy.

I think Turbotax is importing BOX C wrong, perhaps because the INC is on its' own line and thus offsetting the rest of the info. ADP TOTALSOURCE DE IV shows up as the employer, INC as the second line of the employer, and "COMPANY NAME" LLC as the address. I think I need to manually correct this but want to make sure I do it correctly.

When entering the "Employer's name" in TurboTax should it be:

ADP TOTALSOURCE DE IV INC in the first line and "COMPANY NAME" LLC on the second line?

Or should I just use "COMPANY NAME" LLC in the first line and omit ADP TOTALSOURCE DE IV INC ?

Since ADP wasn't my employer, "COMPANY NAME" LLC was.

Use company name as the first line. It does sound like ADP TOTALSOURCE is some type of ADP coding that got pulled into the wrong field.

The IRS will match your W-2 by the employer tax ID. As long as that's correct, your income will be reported correctly and match up with what IRS gets.
