I e-filed my taxes on Turbo tax and everything seemed to be going ok until after I submitted it it was rejected saying that I needed to complete a 8862 form. I printed the tax papers and accidentally pushed file by mail. It said in the instructions to attach the W2 form and now I can't find it anywhere what do I do

Just to clarify, you are not able to find your W2 on TurboTax? Although you have filed with us, we didn't save a copy of your W-2. If you used our mobile app to snap a picture of your W-2, it's not saved on your device. You will need to attach the physical W2, that your employer sent to you, that you used to file your taxes.

As long as you haven't already mailed your 2019 paper return, you can switch to the e-filing method (through October 15, 2020). Please click the TurboTax Help links to learn more.
