W2 Box 14: My "NJ PP DI" entry has two numbers: one in square brackets and one not. What do I enter?

Box 14 of my W2 looks like this:

NJ PP DI [xxx]

xxx

NJ FLI xxx

NJUI WF SW xxx

I've never seen the two separate numbers on the NJ PP DI line before. What is the meaning of the number in square brackets? What number should I enter into TurboTax?

Employers can put just about anything in box 14; it's a catch-all for items that don't have their own dedicated box on the W-2. If unsure, the best bet is to ask your employer.
