Have completed 2024 taxes then received notice of error on W2

still have not received corrected W2

will I be penalized

You shouldn't be.  Unless the corrected W2 reports thousands of extra dollars in income that you should have known about then whatever change it makes to your tax return is obviously not your fault.

 

Once you receive it just go in and adjust the W2 that is in TurboTax to match the new one and see if it changed your tax return at all.
