W2-G: Box 1 is reportable winnings says 0.00, box 14 is State Winnings of $735.00. won't let me file because it says gross winnings shouldn't be less than pr equal to 0

I entered exactly as my W2-G says.

Sounds as if the W-2g has been prepared incorrectly. What the TurboTax error is saying is that you cannot have $0.00 in Box 1 and then have $735 in Box 14. Even though Box 1 is $0.00 it should contain $735.

You can either go ahead and enter the $735 in Box 1 because you know that is what it should be or go back to the Payer who issued the W-2g and ask them to issue you a corrected W-2g.
