W2 with two state entries for same state - blocking from filing state taxes
In 2019 I changed employers midyear. Both employers used the same payroll service, and my W2 is issued by that vendor. My 2019 W2 combines information from both jobs, and is listed under the vendor's FEIN. Both jobs were in the same state, and in the state box I have two entires for the same state - one for each job. Turbotax is blocking me from filing my state return because I have multiple entries for one state on the same W2. I've tried asking for separate W2s but no luck. How can I proceed with filing state taxes?
