Solved

We are married as of March 2018 and my spouse just received her SSN a few days ago. She has 2 last names but filing was rejected several of times.

We married in her home country and lived together in the US as of March 2018. She was unemployed the entire year. Filing rejected due to ssn and name not matching IRS database.

You can try to e-file one more time making sure her name appears on your return EXACTLY as it appears on the Social Security Card.

If you are rejected again for the same reason, the easiest thing to do would be to print and mail your return.  Mailing instructions will print along with all the forms you need to mail.  All you need to do is select Print and Mail instead of E-file at the end of the return.

It could be a delay in the update of the Social Security Administrations database updating with the IRS database.
