We live in NH and husband works in MA. When we filed taxes we were able to do federal but it did not ask about MA state taxes? How can he file for MA state taxes?

We live in NH. I work in NH and he works in MA. We were able to file federal taxes no problem but when we filed it never asked us about the state taxes since he works in MA.

If you go back to the Personal Info section, make sure you indicate that your husband made money in another state and indicate Massachusetts so you will be prompted for the state tax return. You can also go to the State Taxes on the left side of the screen and Add a State.
