What are the totsal fees for the delux regular 1040?

Regular Online Deluxe is currently $40 for a Federal return and $40 for a state return (if applicable).

 

If you choose to pay those fees out of the Federal refund, there is an additional $40 service fee ($45 for California filers.)     You will avoid that fee and save money if you instead pay upfront with credit/debit card or a prepaid debit card you can buy in a store.

 

Prices rise later in filing season, typically in March.
