What can I do ?I got an email saying my tax was rejected due to DOB not matching IRS file but my DOB is correct this is my first time filing.

The IRS gets date of birth from the Social Security Administration. You should contact the Social Security Administration to confirm that your DOB is correct in the Social Security files. If it is not correct, work with Social Security to get it corrected.

 

If it is correct in the Social Security records, there is something wrong with the IRS database. There is nothing you can do to fix it. You will have to print, sign and mail your return to get it accepted.
