Question

What do I enter on my 1095-A form (Part III Boxes A-C/21-32) if they have "0"? I tried entering the number zero and leaving them blank but it tells me to enter an amount?

The correct entry in TurboTax is to leave it blank. You will have to delete the 1095-A and start over.

To delete the form:

  • Tax Tools
  • Tools
  • Delete a Form
  • Find the 1095-A and delete it

Then  add it back, being careful not to get any characters in fields that have zero on the form.

  • Federal
  • Deductions and Credits
  • Medical
  • Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A)

Any overpayment of the premium tax credit has been forgiven for 2020.
