What do I file when I was self-employed part of the year and fully employed the rest of the year, receiving a W-2?

You'll need to file a Schedule C for your self-employment income, and you'll report your Form W-2 as wages on your return.

For information reporting your self-employment income, please see the TurboTax FAQ "How do I report income from self-employment?" below.

You file it all on the same tax return.  You will need to use the Self Employed version to fill out Schedule C for self employment and enter expenses.
