WHAT DO I USE INSTEAD OF "BNY MELLON DISBURSEMENT AGENT?

If you are entering a Form 1099-R, you can enter it manually into TurboTax as follows:

1. Continue your tax return
2. Click on the Search icon at the upper right of your TurboTax screen
3. Type "1099-R" in the search bar and hit enter
4. Click on the link "Jump to 1099-R"
5. This will take you to the 1099-R section of your TurboTax program.
6. if you need to add a new Form 1099-R, select "Add another 1099-R"
7. You can select "I'll type it myself"
8. Choose "Form 1099-R, Withdrawal of Money from 401(k) Retirement Plans, Pensions, IRAs, etc."
9. Click "Continue" and enter the information from your 1099-R

You should enter the 1099-R into your TurboTax program exactly as it is printed. TurboTax will then ask you some follow-up questions, like the amount of your Roth IRA contribution basis.
