It sounds like maybe there's an issue with your bank account accepting your tax refund. You may need to reach out to the bank for more information. If your refund is not able to be deposited to your bank account and is sent back to the IRS, the IRS will send you a paper check in the mail.  Look at: I requested a direct deposit refund. Why are you mailing it to me as a paper check?
