what does it mean when it wants me to put my residency end date

    Did you live in more than one state during 2024? If so, you will report a beginning and ending residency for each state. For the state you moved to and continue to live in, use 12/31/2024. 

     

    For example:

    If you lived in North Carolina and moved on September 1 to South Carolina this would be your residency-

    North Carolina: 1/1/2024 to 8/31/2024

    South Carolina: 09/1/2024 to 12/31/2024
