After you have selected a TurboTax product here, you should begin answering questions and entering personal information (names, address, social security numbers, filing status, dependents, etc) in the My Info section.  

 

Next, you will get to enter your income documents such as W2s or 1099s you may have received from employers and/or banks plus any cash income from self-employment or business endeavors.  

 

Then you will have the opportunity to enter any potential deductions (mortgage interest paid, real estate taxes paid, personal property taxes, out-of-pocket medical expenses, charitable donations, etc).  

 

TurboTax will guide you through the process as you answer questions posed.  Be sure to click the "Learn More" help links along the way for additional helpful information.  

 

In the end all the necessary forms will be created and completed with calculations in TurboTax for your tax filing based on your situation/information entered.
